Paths to Greatness - Genesis 13:14-18

14 The LORD said to Abram after Lot had parted from him, "Lift up your eyes from where you are and look north and south, east and west. 15 All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring for ever. 16 I will make your offspring like the dust of the earth, so that if anyone could count the dust, then your offspring could be counted. 17 Go, walk through the length and breadth of the land, for I am giving it to you." 18 So Abram moved his tents and went to live near the great trees of Mamre at Hebron, where he built an altar to the LORD

Share your dreams for your personal success in the future. Ano ba ang pangarap mo buhay mo? How are you planning to become succesful someday?

Allow 1-2 persons to answer.

Lesson Proper

God has a plan for all of us to be successful someday. Sabi iyon ni Lord sa Jeremiah 29:11- He plans to bless us and to give us succesful future.

Si Abram ay mabuting halimbawa ng maka-diyos na tagumpay.

1. God showed him a vision. Sabi ni Lord sa kanya, "Lift up your eyes!" And he saw God's plan for him. The Lord was giving him the promise land.

As God's children, we must seek God's plan for our lives. Huwag yung puro sarili,lang natin ang hanapin natin. Huwag namang puro enjoyment lang gimik. Hindi mali ang mag enjoy, pero siguraduhin natin na ito ay hindi labag sa kalooban ng Diyos.

2. Sa verse 17, sabi ni Lord, "Walk on the land". parang sinasabi ni Lord, in other words, "Claim my promise for you, start putting your feet on it!"

As young students we better start claiming for that success that God is preparing for us.

Mag-aral tayong mabuti. Maging responsible tayo. Tayo rin naman ang makikinabang sa ating pagsisikap.

3. Build an altar to where God is putting you. Ginawa ito ni Abram. Nagtayo siya ng altar to mark the promise of God.

a. Build an altar to mark your dreams. Claim the presence and blessing of God toward the fulfillment of your success.

b. Build an altar and consecrate your life to God.

May computer ka ba? Sa aming bahay, we put passwords similar to this,

"For God's Only, 4HIM Alone, OnlyForJesus"

Alam mo kung bakit? We agreed to consecrate our computers to God. At kapag may temptation to open illicit websites, we have to be reminded that that computer along with our lives - the altar of God is built and our PC is FOR GOD ONLY.

I am telling you, build an altar in your homes, dormitories and even in your computers.

By doing so, Abram lived an acceptable life for God. Then the rest is history. Abram was so blessed and became a great person in God's sight.

Campus Ministry Lesson 2:

God's Power at Work

Mark 11:12-14, 20-24

Experiencing God's power in our lives is the best experience we can ever have. Nothing can compare to it.

Kaya lang, madalas, our focus is on our frustrations. Ok, marami talaga yung disappoinments sa buhay kabataan. Yung

Hindi ka maunawaan ng magulang mo

May problema ka,

at sa kaibigan mo lang ito pwedeng sabihin.

Maaring bigo sa maraming bagay

at parang walang nagmamahal sa iyo.

At nasasabi mo “Unfair talaga ang buhay.”

Natuyo yung halaman, maybe sasabihin natin, talagang maraming unfair sa buhay.

Jesus cursed the tree, simply because it bears no fruit. Teka! Hindi pa naman panahon ng pagbubunga ng fig tree noon ha!??

Ang point ng story is not to demonstrate how unfair life is. Kahit maraming pagsubok sa buhay, hindi po unfair ang Diyos. The real point of the story is to show how the power of God works.

1. The power of God in Jesus can dry up a tree. The power of God can bring life or death. That is the point. And this power of God is demonstrated to us as his followers.

2. The power of God is accessed through faith. And what can faith and God's power do?

IT CAN MOVE MOUNTAINS! Whooa!

May isang kabataan, parang bundok yung problema. Na drugs, nakabuntis, napaaway sa sariling magulang...tsk! Naglayas.

May pag-asa pa ba siya? Pero sa tulong ng Diyos naayos yung buhay niya. God can move mountains!

3. Prayer can make a big difference in our lives. God's Power + Faith + Prayer = God's willing heart to answer.

Ask everything in my name, sabi ni Lord at tutugunin ko kayo.

A GREAT BARRIER

However, Jesus is also telling us that there is a barrier why we in most cases, we fail to access God's power. Ang sagot......

UNFORGIVENESS!

Many prayers unanswered because we fail to forgive.

Guys, do you want to experience the power of God? Is there anything you want God to give you?

Patawarin natin yung mga nagkasala sa atin.

Kahit yung magulang ninyo, kung nagkasala sila sa inyo, iniwan kayo, sumama sa iba ang nanay ninyo o pinagpalit kayo ng boyfriend nyo...aray! -- just forgive them and let God deal with them in their mistakes.

let God set you free today. just allow the power of God to work in your life now!

1. WELCOME

Welcome everyone. Magkumustahan habang parating ang mga kasama sa grupo.

Ice Breaker Question: "Naranasan mo na ba ang lokohin ng taong pinagkatiwalaan mo? Ano ang feeling?"

2. WORSHIP

Song: I Worship You Almigty God

Lead the group in Prayer

3. WORD

Gen. 29:15-20

Mandaraya si Jacob. Sa kwentong ito, siya ay nakakita ng katapat. Si Laban ay mas tuso. Na inlove si Jacob sa kanyang pinsan na si Rachel. Ngunit si Leah ang ipinakasal sa kanya ni Laban. (Note: Ang mga tauhan sa Biblia sa kwento ito ay mga sinaunang tao. Napapangasawa nila ang kanilang pinsang buo. Ito ay lumang kultura na hindi na ginagawa ngayon.)

Mga Tanong sa Sharing / Discussion:

a. Paano natin maikukumpara ang kasabihang, "Kung ano ang itinanim, siya ring aanihin" sa karanasan ni Jacob?

b. Gaano kahalaga ang mapagkatiwalaan sa maliit o malaking bagay?

c. Ano ang iyong ginagawa upang mapanatili mo ang tiwala ng ibang tao sa iyo?   Ano ang dapat gawin para pagkatiwalaan tayo n gating magulang? O lkapatid? Ibang tao?

4. WITNESS

a. Mag bahaginan at dalanginan ng tig 2 o pumili ng prayer partner.

b. Mag-isip ng isang kaibigan na iyong iimbitahan sa susunod na cell group meeting. Idalangin ang taong ito upang kumilos ang Holy Spirit sa iyong pagbabahagi at pag imbita sa kanya upang makasama sa inyong next cell group.

Mag meryenda at ipagpatuloy ang sharing.

Lesson 2: Love

1.       Welcome:

Kumustahan.

Ice breaker: Na-inlove ka na ba?  Paano mo malalaman kung true love ito? Baka paghanga lang?

2.      Worship:

Lord I Come To You, Let My Heart Be Changed Renewed

Flowing From The Grace That I Have Found In You

And Lord I Have Come To Know The Weakness I See In Me

Will Be Stripped Away By The Power Of Your Love

Hold Me Close Let Your Love Surround Me

3.       Word:

"So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him." 1 John 4:16,

Ano ang love? Hindi ito damdamin lang. Ito ay isang tapat na kaugnayan mula sa isang tao. May limang relasyon ng tunay na pag-ibig.

a.        Pag-ibig sa magulang, b. Sa sarili, c. Sa anak. Sa asawa, d. Pamilya at kaibigan, e. Sa Diyos. 

Ang mga ito ay tinatawag na “love relationship’ na hindi base sa damdamin lamang.   

                Ang pinaka-iba sa lima ay ang pag-ibig ng Diyos.  Sa iyong palagay, paano naiiba ang pag-ibig ng Diyos?

                Paano pinatunayan ng Diyos ang kanyang pagmamahal para sa atin?

                Paano mo naranasan ang true na ito ng Diyos?   Paano ka tumugon ng “true love mo” para sa Diyos?

4.       Witness

May gusto ka bang I bahagi sa grupo tungkol sa gfamily, o sa pag-aaral, etc…

Magdalanginan. Idalangin ang taong iimbitahan mo sa grupo next cell group.

Topic: Faith

1.       Welcome: Kumustahan?

Ice Breaker  Question: Sa Level 1-5, anong level ang faith mo? Bakit?

3.       Word: 

         Mark 4:35-41.  Somebody read the Word.

a.        Ano ang nagdala ng takot sa mga alagad?

b.       Ano ang pagkilala nila kay Jesus before and after the storm?

c.        Paano nadaragdagan / humihina ang faith ng isang Christian?

4.       Witness 

       Pumili ng partner.  Sabihin mo sa kanya, “Friend, gusto ko magkaroon ka ng faith that can move mountaisn.” Pag pray mo siya.

Mag-isip ng isang kakilala na iinvite mo next meeting ng cell group.
